I'mmmmmmmmmmm Back !! Anyone miss me ??

*waves* Hello there peoples O/`~
Well we are back, safe and sound. We had a fabulous time and I thoroughly enjoyed Thailand. I would definitely go back again.
Sadly, Joel & I got very sick while we were away. I thought us getting a cold the week before we left would ensure we were ok...but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I would have to say that it was the worse cold/flu I have had in about 3 yrs at least. Ended up having to take Joel to the hospital because his fever was so high and I couldnt get it to come down. So we were all on antibiotics and I coughed so hard I strained all my chest/back muscles and for 2 days could only take the tiniest of breaths in between coughing fits. We are still coughing but I am certain it will clear. Greg got food poisoning and a case ot the *Thailand Trots* ... what a family !
Thailand is FABULOUS ! The people are wonderful, the weather was GREAT, the hotel was great, the food was great, the prices were great.
Did I mention it was great ?
We went for a trail ride through a rubber tree plantation on a mountain top riding on elephants ! We went to see a cultural show a la broadway called "Phuket Fantasy"
which included 20+ live elephants on stage along with various other wildlife and farm animals. We had our picture taken with me bottle feeding a tiger cub !
I admit that I never actually swam in the ocean as those tranquil seas I imagined were in fact filled with surf style waves. BUT, I was more than happy round the pool.
Anyways, it was wonderful.
We did use the new video camera but not nearly enough but we did take lots of photos with the digital so Patty I will send you both on a cds.
Well, that it is for now. Just thought I would say hello !
